Margica is a Project Planning and Development Assistance tool that helps in keeping a track of the project life cycle and also assists in its documentation and record keeping.
Margica has become an integral part of every development process that initiates at Zenwaves STPL.
Margica assists in the processes and documentation of the following departments :

  • Delivery Office :
         Pertains to the delivery of projects, the project team, cost analysis of project, testing etc.
  • Project Office :
         Pertains to the issues related to employees and projects they are currently working on. The Weekly Timesheet and Timesheet Cover Note form a part of the Project Office.
  • Quality Management Group :
         Deals with issues related to quality management within the company.
  • Human Resources Department :The role of HRD is to take care of post-recruitment activities, this involves recommendation and implementation of policies, processes and systems to meet the changing demands of the industry.
  • Global Resourcing Group : GRG has the prime responsibility to recruit competent professionals for the organization within the specified time frames.
  • Facilities and Administration : The department plays role in sorting out administrative difficulties experienced by all the staff. It monitors and effectively controls day-to-day administrative activities of the organization.
  • Technical Infrastructure and support :
         The allocation of the company resources to individual employees is taken care of by this section.
  • Finance and Accounts : It is responsible for managing finances of the company and providing accurate status on the financial health of the company to the Management by way of periodic MIS reports.
  • Business Development and Management :
  • Understanding current business trends, anticipating future business trends and responding to them in an effective manner is not just an option but also a fundamental requirement

Each division has the appropriate :

Manuals :
     These emphasize the structure, roles and responsibilities of the designated employees, the interfacing of the department with other departments, list of processes and reporting mechanisms to be followed. It acts as a referring manual for all processes defined in each departmental section.

Processes :
     This contains the listing of all processes associated with each department. Each process is exhaustively described and employees are expected to follow them as given.

Forms :
     Contains a listing of the forms to be filled in by employees of each department. The forms are not necessarily the same for all departments.

Templates :
     Templates exist so that an employee can refer to it and accordingly prepare the reporting forms he has to submit.

Checklists :
     Checklists exist for each department so that a record can be maintained about all submitted particulars.

Standards :
     Defines the standards that have to be followed in the various activities performed by the department

Guidelines :
     Guidelines exist for each job profile and also for processes such as Software development methodology, test strategy, software design and document etc.

Policies :
     Policies on IT resources usage and related to HRD are available.
